The importance of email marketing

One of the best methods to stay in touch with your customers is via internet marketing. This is a professional, cost-efficient and reliable method that you can use to communicate with customers.

The main focus is to define and promote brand awareness, but at the same time, email marketing can also help you with customer acquisition and customer retention.

What are the aims of email marketing?

The main focus for business email marketing is increasing sales, of course, but at the same time, you also use it to build brand awareness.

With email marketing, you will be able to create a professional relationship with your customers, a relationship that will be strengthened based on the awesome content you incorporate into your email content.

But, maybe the most important thing, is you will be able to remind your customers about your business, your products and services.

What to do and what to avoid when it comes to email marketing

Make sure your subject line contains under 50 characters which make it easier for the subscriber to understand.

Include a clear call to action in your email content to drive visitors to your website.

Do not use too many colours and fonts, also try to stick to a common theme for the emails you create which will help with engagement rates.

Try to avoid creating an email newsletter which is wider than 600px. 600px is the optimum size for viewing on the majority of email applications.

Experiment with the sending times and days of your newsletter. Check your stats to see what time and day are best for open rates.
