Beginners guide to Twitter business marketing

So I guess you are reading this blog post because you are not so familiar with Twitter. Twitter can be a powerful marketing tool for your business if used correctly. At DCP we use Twitter on a regular basis to publish our recent completed website design projects and blog posts. As you know content king so you should keep your website up-to-date with the latest news and blog posts. Obviously you can't sit in front of Twitter for 24 hours of the day to post your content so you need a tool to do this for you. At DCP we use Hootsuite which is a cost-effective solution for posting content across all of your social networks. You can create a bulk schedule for 24 hours in advance and post automatic content to all of your social media accounts with minimal effort. At DCP we find the best time to post content is at 12pm, 6pm and 9pm for our UK based social media followers. We also use Bitly the track which posts are getting clicks so we can understand what content is working best. Most social networks now support hash tags (#), you can think of hash like categories and if you use your hash tags correctly then you have a better chance of people finding your content.
