Out of the 50% of people who search, 34% do so by using a computer. mobile phone or tablet. An estimated 1 in 3 Google searches is location-related.

The main focus points that Google looks for are, fast and reliable sources and ones that run smoothly on mobile devices without any glitches. The five main areas are navigation and homepage, Search, commerce, form entry and usage.

Responsive websites will get a further boost at a later date by Google. Google intends to monitor people who use the search engine by mobile device separately from people who use computers.
