Salifu Dagarti Memorial Foundation (SDMF) helps people in the rural areas of Ghana to fight against poverty and disadvantage.

70% of Ghana’s poor people live in rural areas.
Half of them are women and children.
They have limited access to basic services, safe water, electricity and telephone. Poverty is worst among food crop farmers 6 out of 10 of whom are poor.
